In addition, it publishes work in any of the major legal traditions, including common law, civil law, and the socialist tradition.The editors of Law and Philosophy encourage papers that exhibit a philosophical reflection on the law and that are also informed by a solid knowledge of the law. Moreover, they encourage legal analysis informed by sound philosophical methods and principles.
